I’m Rina, 34 years old, I have lovely husband called Jon and what are best described as two beautiful but ‘spirited’ children called Sammy – 2 years old, and Mia – 1 on Sunday!
I’m new to blogging so please excuse any mistakes or faux pas, hopefully i’ll get the hang of it soon!
I’m looking to create a blog where I can share some ideas for family meals and snacks. Something that’s easy to prepare, quick to make, good to taste and nutritional , something that everyone in the family can enjoy. – or as friend said – Simple, Nutritious & Delicious! – perhaps I should have named the blog that instead.
We are a family who love to eat! Anyone who knows my kids, knows that food is a big deal. I love to cook and experiment in the kitchen and would love to share my ideas with you. I’m in no way qualified in cookery but I’m hoping I can get by on enthusiasm, trial and error and the support of friends, family and you lot.
The purpose of my meals is to create something we can knock up after a long day at work or an exhausting day entertaining the kids. The ‘recipes’ are pretty flexible, if you dont have fresh herbs, used dry herbs, if you don’t have a particular ingredient, don’t worry just leave it out or substitute it for something else, there’s no right or wrong, just dishes that taste good.. and well … er …dishes that don’t. If they don’t taste good, there’s always the local chippy! – it happens
